The web page looks great, and I think "The Halfway House" is a brilliant title that provokes the imagination.

Hard to trust msnBS these days but I think Pam was blame shifting to Patel on his first or 2nd day, knowing there would too much to compile by 8 am, and now she can point the finger at him. I found it wierd she was going on TV saying tomorrow and having nothing to show. Patel said all on day 1 too.

Yeah, they want to bull everyone into being subservient and avoid ruffling feathers. It's a difficult task nto to go too far a la De Niro and remain true to yourself. I say dare and let the chips fall.

Fair points but I wish ppl would just focus on not banning books rather than dweilling on which lanes are being banned. It skews the argument into activism, which puts some ppl off. All bans are terrible.

“Deneige, I’m just not sure if you know how risky this is. Take this flat blade and cut it into the sole of your shoe, if they even let you keep your shoes,” Suzette said.

He said so with the same smarmy air a crooked cop has after he’s just kicked in your tail light and handed you a ticket.

A great passage, invites the reader in, while instantly proving some skill at wordcraft; thus dangling the talent before curiousity's whim.

I self publish because I cannot imagine surrendering the rights to my content. Allowing for rewrites, content moderation, censoring or rebranding would defeat the entire purpose for me.

Yeah, that makes alot of sense. I ptobably need to familiarize myself with of what sort of content goes into a well prepared update notice. I need to step out of my comfort zone. Thanks for the insight!

It's funny in that I feel I write very interesting books, but if asked to compose a newsletter, I'dd why would anyone even care to read it. I wrote 1500 words yesterday and today only 11. Even I wouldn't want to read that. I couldn't imagine 1 person wanting to read my newsletter.

Sorry that happened to you, in the end we all pay some unexpected price due to ego. I just want to stress that I think it's a brilliant title.

Not sure how much AH actually had to do with this, but there are some very potent short stries within.
