I’m George Takei and I approve of this message.

This is what MAGA Christians have brought into being. Pretty sure Jesus isn't smiling down on them at this time ...

ICYMI: Jen Rubin sat down with former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice to discuss Trump’s wrecking-ball impact on U.S. international relations. This includes shattering our trust with European allies and the fatal consequences of cutting off USAID funds.

sigh ...

Turning to Timothy Snyder for perspective is always a good decision

Thanks Teddy

Marbury v Madison is a seminal case from 1803 that holds that the federal courts must determine the constitutionality of the actions of the other two branches of government. Hope that helps, Stephen.

Two lawyers, one Yale educated, one Harvard educated; one the VP, one a senator, suggesting that decisions made by courts aren’t legitimate if they don’t like the outcome. This is dangerous territory.

How many people who voted for Donald Trump also voted to give Elon Musk control of all of their personal financial information and all of the payments made by the U.S. Government ...did they vote to give control of the government and its financial functioning to a South African-born Billionaire?

Does anyone understand how Musk is able to take over these various agencies and access their information systems? As a private citizen, I couldn't just walk in and tell staff to leave and access various data systems. Does he have law enforcement support to force staff to leave and give over access?

“Regulations, basically, should be default gone,” Musk said. “Not default there, default gone. And if it turns out that we missed the mark on a regulation, we can always add it back in.” www.huffpost.com/entry/elon-m...

Murphy: "This is a constitutional crisis that we are in today. Let's call it what it is."

Turning to Krugman always brings clarity for me

Excellent by @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social "If you’re always consumed by the next outrage, you can’t look closely at the last one. The impression of Trump’s power remains; the fact that he keeps stepping on rakes is missed. The projection of strength obscures the reality of weakness. Don’t believe him."

Write your elected representatives NOW and insist they act to stop the illegal actions of an unelected, unappointed, unvetted Elon Musk and his cohorts.
