With PIP and the WFA, Labour are going to bring down their own government. They may then be eligible for PIP themselves, gaining 4 points on a daily living descriptor for self-harm ideation

The tone of Starmer's response was very similar to that of a Dalek as it starts to malfunction.

I'll be expressing opinions later today while watching the Bournemouth v Man City match. What's the police stance on pork scratchings? Quite concerned actually!

“Many of my constituents have expressed concern about welfare cuts” = “I am concerned I might lose my seat”. It’s really that simple

And still, after it has been pointed out numerous times, the getting people back into work drive apparently justifies, in Labour's eyes, slashing PIP by 5 billion (?), which, as literally everyone else knows, is not an out-of-work benefit. Disingenuous?

The Stephen Timms interview raises it to a knee-flash.

Completely overlooked while they argue about the real intentions of the DWP is the fact that large numbers of genuinely unwell claimants (commenting on supportive online forums) are in a state of complete distress wondering what will happen. You know, real people with real problems!

Looks like a defeat for DWP (very well done to Ellen Clifford) but it really only delays benefit reforms while Labour scrutinise the judgement and reword their own plans to minimise the likelihood of legal challenges. Correcting political failures so often leads to attacks on the vulnerable!

My mum once got hit in the face by a hockey ball and just played on. At the end of the game someone noticed her face was swollen - outcome, a broken cheekbone. Yeah, hardcore.

For anyone reading Frances's article who needs help navigating the benefits system, there are better places to look than tiktok.
Try www.benefitsandwork.co.uk for example
