How democrats vote for the former state senator and current mayor who has been around for years and has a solid reputation

the funniest thing was how in 2022 & 2024 there were people that didn't know that NY had early voting and were making assumptions based on that

I am 99% sure that pretty much all distaste for Dems is because they lost last year and only a small portion depends on what they are currently doing. Real “bitch eating crackers” moment

Kathyrn Garcia would be mayor right now if that was the case

I wonder what Walz’s opinion on J. J. McCarthy is.

You do not want to know how often people will stop an application if they are asked to copy and paste their resume.

Like international workers are getting screwed because I know a few companies that will only talk to candidates that need a visa sponsorship if they are referred by employees or agency.

Like on resume forums the advice is now to straight up lie instead of just rounding up 2.5 to 3. And also at my firm this was a problem because Covid wiped out so many smaller to mid companies that it was nearly impossible to check.

I have yet to see a feasible and fair solution for what hiring manager are supposed to do when they get 1000+ applications and over 80% have no business applying to the position. Like keyword matching and lockout boxes can be lied to and can knock out people that are qualified but are edge cases.

The demographic breakdown of this election is going to break so many brains and make so many people sound like elitist racists

But in reality I do wonder if Disney would ever try to do Disney Quest again since technology has advanced from 2000

Disney buys Square Enix and makes Kingdom hearts makes sense

Building a Time Machine so NY votes for the trash lady instead in ‘21.

Up until the last month Mamdani was really skeptical of allowing private development to build anything substantial in the city. And his biggest surrogate being Brisport didn’t help matters

Yep. Smaller and denser units are typically cheaper to service with utilities and emergency services than SFH. Laying pipe is expensive and time consuming
comment in response to post
A big portion of costs for services is capital investment. So more people means you can spread depreciation and maintence across more homes.
