I thanked my orthopedic surgeon, a UCLA MD for my new hip, and my eye surgeon, a USC MD for my cataract surgery. I didn’t ck the woman surgeon’s credentials the night of the 5 hour ER abdominal surgery!
They, all work at the same major So CA hospital.

These men and woman sit for the exact exams as MDs. The focus is on the entire body and its systems. The DO who saved my life after extensive ER surgery is the chief of staff at a major S CA hospital. She would disagree with you.But I agree: The report was not written by a MD or a DO.
