It really IS a terrible haircut, isn't it?! He does those EPK interviews that Apple posts at the end of each episode and there he was, looking all nice and handsome again. I assumed he had just gotten older and that's what he'd be now...but no. He's still a dashing dude.

She's like most establishment Democrats. They think they have to play by these Marquis Of Queensbury rules with a new administration. "Criticizing them would be uncouth!" Yeah, let's keep living in 1988. Shit changed! But SHE will be fine. She'll just shoot anybody who enters her house, as we know.

Well, even a lot of intelligent Americans can't see past their own navel. It's the only country in the entire world that matters, right? Why bother to learn anything about anyone else?

Yeah, but why would the President Of The United States have the first clue about what's going on in the government doings of the United States? He's gotta get on the links and think about how much bronzer to put on tomorrow!

I didn't think that was true when I first saw it months ago, but now I'm leaning towards agreeing with you. It's stayed with me. And Naomi Scott is phenomenal.

Good point. The wife & I had to buy Wicked to see it (well, we COULD have still gone to the theatre, but...people) and that was my logic too. The 25 bucks was less than if we had gone together. I don't think I'll ever watch it again, but we CAN see it whenever, since we own it.

I can't speak to not being interested in Asian men, but guys not wanting to date black women is just insane to me. I DID marry a white woman, yet I was open to all races in my single days. Just hanging with white women and Filipinas would have been fine, but a little dull. Try all kinds if you can!

The best moment of Michael Moore's speech is when they cut to a side view of the audience and you can see Harrison Ford grinning ear to ear. I didn't know how much of a leftie he was until fairly recently. He loved what MM was doing to Bush and the war machine.

I'm with you. I enjoyed it FAR more than I thought I would (because I'm not a TMNT person). Terrific stuff and excellent voice casting for the Turtles

Fair enough. I was amazed how engrossed I got into it. I can't stand the Catholic Church, especially the guys at that level. Still, there I was, thinking it's one of the best films of 2024. Don't love the ending, but, yeah, you're right about the beauty of the aesthetics and the acting being great

I'm not at all the fan of it that you are, but Lynch was such a one-of-a-kind filmmaker and came back to his themes. "There's no place like home." I do feel like Laura Dern was strumming guitars at very-high levels back then. Cage too, but even more so Dern

Wait, he doesn't already have this?!

I have to agree. I'm a huge Ebert fan. He's my favourite film critic...and he was the most-relatable of the all the famous critics. He just seemed to have a very big bug up his buttocks about Lynch. I didn't love Wild At Heart either, but DID think great things about nearly everything else

I'll see it. You and Elisabeth Moss did a spectacular job with The Invisible Man, so I'm jazzed you kicked some monster ass again this time

Ticket cost (yes, it's way too expensive), distance to nearest theater (there used to be more options, yeah), etiquette of other patrons (yes, people think they're in their living room), also how cold it always is in there, showtimes are usually inconvenient, the projection is sometimes too dark etc

Horror movie, definitely, but also a high-larious comedy. That ending had me LOL'ing....and that was after a guy collapsed while going down the stairs and scaring the shit out of all of us that he just died

They don't, Joe, because your country is full of terrible people...just like every other country. You're not special. But, yes, please keep saying that "every" American knew the truth. They didn't. They never will. You are a silly people.

But there's always been this pressing question in EVERYONE'S mind about how Scar got his name! If we don't know that, then I don't know how we go on l-i-v-i-n

I haven't seen Nosferatu yet, but I thumbs up your Jaws reference. "When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be livin'. Until he bites ya. Then those black eyes ROLL over white..."

I'd go with The Lion King. In fact, I'd probably go back to front there. Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty And The Beast, then The Little Mermaid. I'm a big fan of the first 3 and respect the merm. It was quite a run
