yeah, that’s right. warden of heaven is counter-bazian but like a personality-cult version that’s taken over. (juxtaposed w crane’s older counter-bazian ark which is all about personal experience and reading scripture oneself, whereas the warden claims he alone has the answers)

no not wild, i just thought maybe you guys were envisioning something wholly different from what i was! like how folks are leveraging activitypub for everything from reddit clones to tiktok clones

2. i've been a champion of notion for about 6yrs, and it's a core part of my productivity + second brain stuff. today i opened notion and a big "notion AI" nav item's been added to my sidebar. on top of the many "please use AI" prompts popping up across their UI. big pick-me energy.

examples:
1. sleep cycle has been analyzing my sleep patterns for over a decade. great app. gladly paid for it. but loaded it up yesterday after a long break and now they're calling it AI.

even the study kinda worded it deceptively in their intro. seems like they were hoping for it being misconstrued... i wish the journalists would dig into the studies a little. this happens a LOT

so, while concerning, this study only tested 203 products and of those 8% had some amount of flame retardant found. the way the article words the findings is kinda alarmist and deceptive, makes it sound like 85% of black plastics have flame retardant in them.

i figured it’d be mainly a lot of pines which didn’t appeal to me. for years i was sort of avoiding it when choosing places to go, but turns out i was missing out! don’t judge a book by its cover or a park by its name, i guess

wonder how this compares to other presidents. someone should make a comparison graph of presidential golf habits!
and i’m curious how other world leaders / presidents / prime ministers stack up. do they play golf too? are there other similar activities/pasttimes analogous for their contexts?

ah, i’m surprised it’s still got any significant amounts of real herbs in it! i guess i assumed they would’ve reformulated to maximize profit after jagerbombs became a college party blackout staple

ah i made it through that. i’m at a part where it seems to be mostly eliza recounting conversations with various aristocrats (after she had her baby) in the form of formal correspondence

“quicksilver” sucked me in too! one of my all time favourites. yet i’m at “the confusion” now and keep stalling out. tried it on audio and that’s not gone any better.

i’m told the company that owns the building has been putting up similar properties in bankruptcy sale proceedings which then get torn down in favour of condo mid-rises. would be a shame if that’s what happens here!
