I just learned that the colors seen at the edges of some photo shadows are called 'chromatic aberration.' It is a failure of the lens to focus all colors to the same point. Here, it adds emotional depth to #TobiasMenzies reading last year from Hwang Sok-wong's Mater 2-10.

I'm trying to make some art. I draw a lot & sometimes create interesting images, but transfering those skills to painting can be discouraging; I can see the improvement from one to the next. It's exciting that I can do this...at all. I just wish I could find a source of genuine artistic feedback.
