This is more true for newer builds as well as renovations targeted at AirBnb. Traditionally Georgian has huge eating room where family tends to gather, and often doubles as living room. But these new buildings lack living space in general.

Also should remember "Turkey" is historically a new thing. Asia Minor used to be all Greece (Byzantine/Roman Empire). Part of Georgia (Adjara) was actually in the Roman Empire, and loads of Greek saints spent a lot of time in Georgia (second Christian country, Armenia the first, before Rome).

Gestapo at least had some fitness standards. Jeez man, these LEOs need to lay off the donuts.

It's in the Caucasus, and the cont. divide wanders over the Georgian/Russian border. Parts of Georgia (eg Stepanitsminda) are indisputably in Europe, while the country hist. looks more toward South European culture (eg Greece) than anything else (though shares a lot with Arabia/Persia/Turkey).

"... Along with attempts to pressure or interfere in the domestic affairs of other countries." Pot, meet kettle.

Erm, all Latin words predate Christianity...

Though more to the point is what is happening NOW.

There wasn't much we could've done then. Unlike now.

"Maybe down the line is connected" literally can be applied to anyone. That's a pretty loose category.

True, and media bias is already expected, though people need to learn to read it (many have no filter). But others have no filter when it comes to alt media, while crying foul about MSM.

Ed. Love spectacular visuals without any effort involved.

They're all a bit OTT. Why not build a network of basic, low-tech hiking and biking trails across the country?

Same goes for news. Real news is behind paywalls, while the misinfo from "new media", who are often essentially paid propagandists, is spreading like wildfire.

Will everyone who Ghiblified their pics go to the movie? No. But undoubtedly they opened their market to a huge swath of new people to appreciate their work, talk about them, and spend their money at the movie theatre. 4/4

It makes people feel like they're part of the storytelling, part of creating the animations. True, they're not. But marketing is about creating a shared experience, and allowing people to make their own Ghibli-style pics has allowed that on a truly unprecedented scale. 3/4

To me, this was clearly part of Ghibli's strategy, to restoke the interest in their studio and get people out to the theatres. And it worked: Princess Mononoke has been breaking records. And why? 2/4

I just can't figure which is worse. That the GOP has gone this course, or that their voters have followed. It's all so mind numbingly stupid.

not to mention GOP literally stacked the SCOTUS...

"Goldberg is an anti-Trump hater". Nah, pretty sure he's a Trump hater. 😂

Back when GOP was opposition and calling foul on every little tiny turd the Dems shat. But the Dems have such little backbone to raise a ruckus when appropriate.

Musk is a disgusting human being and terrible father for talking about his child like this, and using them as a prop in his politics. They must have been going through an amazingly difficult time to transition, and to just they "died". Vomit.

Super friendly to foreigners. Very feudal to each other though.

It's a bad sign that I cant tell if your commentary is on Georgia or the US until I get to the end.

I cant imagine the opp. loss for local hotels that could be hosting skiers. Can't understand why they don't put this back online.
