Online retailers are hilarious, man. “How does 15% OFF sound?!” You mean for the product I wasn’t going to buy to begin with? Not great. And now I’m insulted by your weak offer.

My latest confession is that whenever people post something intentionally cryptic online like “Maybe Thermandanos was right.” I never have any clue as to whether they’re referring to someone well-known in Greek mythology or an unremarkable character from the 8th sequel to the latest Avengers film.

It’s entertaining watching people who clearly know nothing about pro international hockey pretend that booing opposing countries’ national anthems is some international political statement. It’s country vs. country in a sport. Not “oooh no Canadians don’t like us.” Even if they didn’t, who cares?

Writing reviews is always a waste of time. I’ll include all the details, thinking maybe that’s what’s helpful, but it never is. The most interacted with ones are always: “It was GOOD. The FOOD WAS GREAt!” And the owners reply: “OMG thank you so much for taking time to review us. See U again soon!”

I’ll never forget how Elon Musk pretended to be nonpartisan. Said he wouldn’t donate to any political parties. Then, when he still couldn’t get anyone to think he’s funny after spending $44 billion on a social media platform, he decided to align with the biggest cult leader in western civilization.

Not to sound rude but, it kind of seems like Finland might have a tough time keeping up with the other three teams here.

It hasn’t even been a full week and I think I’m already getting tired of hearing from these Eagles fans lol 1) They added Saquon Barkley to their already stacked offense 2) I barely heard about their team all season outside the name “Saquon Barkley” 3) They won a Super Bowl with OPOY Saquon Barkley

I think many people might be rather confused about what’s going on here. The modicum of support that RFK had was as an environmental litigator, who as AG could take on big corps to clean up our air and water, get rid of junk in food, grapple w/ big pharma. Not whatever tf seems to have transpired.

My hot take about companies and platforms globally forcing everyone to reset their passwords is that they should warn you in advance, rather than causing you to panic when they lock you out of your account after gaslighting you into thinking you’ve been incorrectly entering your password 8 times.

The interesting part about the Kendrick Lamar/Drake thing is that I’d never heard of Kendrick until he did “Fuckin Problems” with A$AP Rocky and Drake. In fact, his first big album was released two weeks after that single. In opinion, people only listened to “Fuckin Problems” bc it featured Drake.

I will never, ever (ever) understand why the lowest price I can pay for a good or service wouldn’t be the direct source of that good or service. I’m talking about the myriad of companies that exist solely to act as discount middlemen for places that offer lodging, flight tickets, event tickets, etc.

If you’ve followed NFL football for the past 5 years, it should come as no shock that Josh Allen was awarded MVP. He’s the only elite player in that offense, they’re a top offense every year, and the only other top tier player that he had during his career was traded away during the last offseason.

One specific thing I’ve noticed about this app is that people either (a) suspect I’m arguing with them when I comment, or (b) where I’m clearly just commenting with no argumentative undertones whatsoever, assume I would like for them to argue back with me?

I don’t think the democrats or the DNC will ever be able to live down that they decided not to announce Biden was stepping back and have Kamala run in the primary vs. suitable competition. Instead they focus on the end result, and blame the populace for their errors that cost them millions of votes.

It’ll never cease to amaze me how chain and franchise restaurants are able to raise prices at a reasonable rate of maybe 10-15% over the past few years, while local places have easily upped theirs 60-70% and yet people accept it, almost as a throwaway, due to rising labor and ingredient costs.
