Don’t you all remember that Rachel’s researchers have been let go at the end of the 100 days!! The whole team is needed to produce Rachel’s incisive and informative programme

😘🇨🇦 from Canada to you. There is compassion, empathy honour and integrity in this world and you are a great example. These events are so evil that we all feel tainted and helpless with rage and frustration. But you must take care of yourself first because this is a long haul. Courage Seth!

So glad you recognise your own need for extra rest snd sleep. Doing nothing but waiting, whether for appointments, Drs, test results or sitting in the hospital - its all exhausting. My neighbour (71) and I are planning to protest in downtown Vancouver on the 19th - glad you got to do one!

The buzz of a honey bee always brings to mind the day you met Holmes 🐝. I can’t wait for ‘The Lantern’s Dance’!

Sounds as complicated as normal! I found a notebook helped me keep track. If he gets hiccups that take a while to go away, its the prednisone. Ask the nurse if its troublesome 😘

As a Canadian, I am insulted, constantly. Unable to comprehend the depths the despotic T- administration will sink to; no integrity, no honour, no truth, no compassion, just selfish greed and grifting

Well, he does. The real question then is, why did you vote for someone you didn’t believe in?

Our son stayed with us (mom and dad) for the first 4-5 days after each treatment and then when he felt stable, he spent the rest of his time living in his own place until the next chemo. Its a delicate bslance between him feeling some control over his life during such an emotional rollercoaster😘

The night after his treatment, you may find that he cannot think clearly. Making sure he takes the anti- nausea medications ON TIME is very very important to prevent vomiting. That means keeping track of time for him even setting alarms to wake up. And recording pills taken. Its complicated

And don’t expect your son to hold conversations with you during the chemo! Silent support can be just as good. We talked about this: what our son wanted from us in the hospital and after - though he may not know himself. Also, how much he wants to know or not know about his treatment.

A sensitive question - my son was advised to save some sperm at a fertility clinic prior to his treatment, which he chose to do after finding out his lymphoma was not genetic but just a random occurrance. He was diagnosed at 21 years old

It is terrifying to begin with seeing the nurses double gown and glove up to administer the chemo - but you get used to it. We are with you❤️

My son was offered a bed or chair initially, and chose a bed when the chemos were long, because he would doze off. And don’t be surprised if his colour changes - my son’s skin would go pale as the drugs hit his system, but think of them as giving LIFE 😘😘😘

Its what a mom does❤️ The first drive home is rough because of the fear of the unknown afterwards Let me know what drugs he is having and we can talk about the anti- nausea medications because there is a range of them, some better than others. The anti-nauseas can make a real difference

We had to laugh or we would have cried - my son had to have a second biopsy because the first turned out to be msinly cartilege … he proudly sports two tiny little scars now … it is the definitive test . Spent more time than truly necessary buying the softest button up shirts forhis port too

Oh, and don’t forget the sick Texan children with measles and liver damage from too much Vitamin A, courtesy of the worst Health Secretary in living memory. You can keep your measles epidemic. Canada provides free vaccines and free health care for all. 🇨🇦

Where is the ICC when you need it - too many kids will die from measles and he knows it. Its murder by ideology
