nothing wrong with remembering the little tricks we were taught for our language. though, i will always posit that english isn't really a language, it's 3 languages in a trenchcoat that hides in alleys and beats up other languages for spare nouns and adverbs.

Omg yes! I think there were a couple PSX era games that did that really well. I know the Dead Space trilogy would let you unlock special weapons and whatnot, but i think the old Arc The Lad series would carry stuff over too, but i don't remember. it's been a couple decades.

are there no bridesmaids, groomsmen, friends or family that you can delegate these tasks to? no trusted person to assist? or would the act of delegating take more spell slots than just doing it yourself? i know i have days like that.

i'm anxious, but also reeeaaallllyy excited. i'm scared they didn't fix whatever the graphics issue was between beta 1 and beta 2, cuz the game suddenly started looking ass. but i'm also really anticipating it.

IIRC there's an old quote, "Comparison is the thief of joy." But I would also like to add, "Glory to the Omnissiah, hail to the mighty algorithm." 😁

is anybody truly "normal"? or is the concept of normal simply a set of beliefs and behaviors widely accepted by whatever "society" you are currently surrounded by?

no, i won't. and many of us shouldn't. because if we're actually honest with ourselves, about our past selves, we don't deserve it. because, no, we weren't doing our best. some of us, maybe, sure. but the majority of us? no, not even close to our best.
