Dude. A reviewer used gender instead of sex once in referring to the mice in our manuscript, and my PI had a rebuttal document that included "well mice don't have genders so .. that's invalid"

Tbh its giving Instagram/Snapchat filter added to old Shrek. Not overtly bad but not what I wanted. That era of DreamWorks is nostalgic and we all have a certain version of Shrek we know. It's not a choice I would've made to change that. But I also get we have different tech now

Sorry I guess I mean "relative" infancy by science standards. We've known positive properties of many different compounds like cannabis for a long time, but the definitive evidence for use in things like chronic pain, migraine, etc is really only recently being acknowledged in the field as a whole.
