Do y’all have Black people on staff who are NOT DEI? Engineers, designers, trust & safety? Anyone? What’s the point of these values if your platforms continue to aide implicit violence? These responses and “community guidelines” are a waste of your time and resources, no?

It’d seem as if Black Americans are constantly protesting in the U.S.
Unsure if you’ve been part of the large scale protests in 2020 and 2023 but these communities show up en masse, often to the detriment of organizers.

Fair! I like the peak behind the curtain approach, it’s ballsy and hopefully most consumers are now hip to the fact that when a platform launches - it’s only 3% of what it’ll be one day because even the MVP is nowhere near the ideal.

It’s only a few weeks in! I’m sure as more voices and people join, spaces will begin to film out and feel less cliqued off and community as it is elsewhere will start to really flourish.

I genuinely can’t tell if I’m an unfit candidate, my resume(s) are not communicating my abilities, or if the market is that bleak.
My saving grace has been my ability to work in film to supplement my dwindling savings. Maybe, it’s time to hang up my lil hat and leave SaaS forever.
