Whenever something is terrible there is always someone caching in :)

I always find it strange that the US has drug ads! It's illegal here, and in most other countries

My little one actually asks LLMs to create tests for her and then she corrects herself, almost like having a private tutor
comment in response to post
You are right. The issue is that when you are not completely unfamiliar it might create problems. I find it better when you actually are familiar, you can review the code and ask it to make corrections to fix It's like having a jr engineer, you mentor them through the task

The irony that they wiped out their indigenous population with massacres and don't even acknowledge them, yet they make fun of our effort to reconcile with our past!

Hey guys, The free version might work well for you (it supports 9 accounts - 1 per platforms) We are the first service to support Bluesky (2 years ago), our old name is Tweepsmap if you recognize it, we changed it in 2023

How did I miss that! This is great, what a great match!

You can never go wrong with zaatar

it is you who does the searching, you who vets the results and ask follow up questions to get better results or point out incomplete or wrong responses This exactly happened to me today, I could have typed something that'd take hours but instead I reviewed, asked for correction and got right answer
comment in response to post
So here are my thoughts It is a tool that will give you basic information that matches what you are looking for. It's the same as "shall I use a search engine" or "go to the library and search books". Both can be useful but ....

I love that we have so many fans here :-)

Ahhh glad you like this feature Chris! We thought it's a great way to avoid forgetting to add alt-text!
comment in response to post
Thanks Boris! Yes, we just added Tumblr to our support plans, so you can now have 10 accounts in the free plan! And we have been supporting Bluesky for over 2 years now

Awesome! Please do share feedback for us, we'd like to know if you encounter any issues since this is a new integration

Not sure where you live but in most part of the world private businesses also run buses. Additionally, public transit is also not 100% subsidized so if ridership drops they would scale down their operations. Governments would love it if they can offload some of their services
comment in response to post
Not exactly They will make it cheap enough to destroy the bus industry then a few years later increase the prices and we won't have any serious alternative after the bus industry is long gone

Ughhh I hate it when people do this To be fair, I have had multiple cases when a customer didn't know they did that (accidental clicks, esp on mobile) Problem is once they do this they get flagged in our email provider so we lose communication with them. Imagine when it happens to a paying customer

We are grateful that you use the service, Bree!

Oil is down because there is infighting in OPEC+, and it dropped so much that it's not profitable for many US oil producers - it's actually worse here for oil sands because it costs >$50 bbl to produce it

yeah they don't have refresh tokens .... which is a problem Also Twitter was oAuth 1 and was working oAuth2 but it was half launched back then, now they are trying to migrate completely but that will take a long time
comment in response to post
I think that's generally the case with most oAuth2, refresh token with longer TTL and access token with short TTL. Some have token refresh with a simple redirect so the experience is not as jarring It's a trade off between security and convenience I suppose

1. It is a public conversation, you don't need to be "invited" 2. You are spreading misinformation about the tool I built 3. I am not "selling" you anything, you can use it for free. If people are selling you free stuff you have a problem
comment in response to post
Gee, I am not a sales rep. I am a software developer, one of the first one to support this very platform you are on But I guess everyone just wants free stuff and don't want to talk to the people that built them
comment in response to post
Actually @fedica.com is the first to support Bluesky, more than a year before others followed And we do support content warnings

Giving 99% of his wealth in 20 years means he would still be a billionaire!
comment in response to post
It's different, both in timeline and scale The Giving Pledge means they give 50% of their wealth by the time they are dead (or in their will) This new announcement is giving away 99% of his wealth over the next 20 years. The change is in response to the destruction of USAID

This is heartwarming to see, Congrats John!

The same as our generation had video games, color TVs, VCRs. We are different, but none of that makes anyone insane

Imagine a 100 posts thread, if the error rate is 0.1%, the thread would have 10% likelihood of failure. We have been doing this for 6 years now, so our choices come from experience!
comment in response to post
Hey Alice, Long threads are very error prone. There is no such thing as a "thread" in APIs, so 50 messages means 50x likelihood of failure, and since we are talking about threads this could actually create serious issues (it's not all or nothing, i.e. incomplete threads posted) Hence our choice
comment in response to post
We always track them, never stopped. You need the Grow plan for tracking to work
comment in response to post
Hi Jakub, We still can access the API, we never lost it
comment in response to post
LOL no, we read books not train models on them :-) As for AI, we use fuzzy logic, a different branch of AI to decipher interests, behaviour and demographics of your social audience so we can help you with optimizing your posts
comment in response to post
Not all AI is LLM We use AI for over a decade, but unfortunately when LLM came along they ruined the word AI In itself AI is quite useful and is not just repackaged Google search. Self driving cars, all the smart things our phones can do, these are things that we had long before LLM became popular

Glad we make it useful for you Bree!

What does "researching" even mean? No matter how much "researching" one does, it will not have as accurate conclusions as those by experts. I can "research" all I want but I will not understand most of the jargons in studies and more likely to cherry pick what fits previous preconceptions
comment in response to post
1. Give them an exercise to code a web page that does simple logic 2. Ask them questions about why they did/did not do certain things, i.e. the questions will be about their work and helps you understand how they think
comment in response to post
Yeah I think we need to compare Apples-Apples Left side B series, right side E series Of course it's more expensive but when you factor in the other things it's not worth the switch
comment in response to post
Always thought of moving loads to cheaper host but not viable Disk pricing aside, I think B series pricing is comparable There is also the additional advantage of networking

Yes, I will definitely do me! Again I am an introvert but I never thought saying having a quick chat with a person sitting next to you would be equated to bungee jumping No wonder society is going down hill with everyone just caring about themselves
