Played UR a couple times the other night, my takeaways: If you can get Skyray/Mako, the tempo build is excellent. The signposts are very solid cards, but not strong enough to build a deck around. The two UR rares are great too, similar to the uncommons

White is definitely the worst color in DFT. I've played a lot of it so far (almost half my drafts). Its problem is its commons - the vast majority of them are nigh unplayable. These two are great; Surveyor, Quickwelder, and Collision Course are OK in the right spot. Everything else - don't bother

~2 days of 17Lands draft data are available so time to give is a cursory look. And what a crazy world we live in in Avishkar. Simic - top. Boros - bottom. Top 4 color pairs have Green in them. And that is sthg we have to respect even in the early data. (numbers in brackets = sample size). 1/3

Big PSA going into Aetherdrift prerelease weekend: I suspect many players will simply include too many vehicles! They’re the sets headliner but you still can’t jam your deck with a bunch of them. I’d aim for 1-3, more towards 1 than 3, though I’m more forgiving of self crewers

Coming around to Back on Track being the best black uncommon. Spotting you a dude raises the floor pretty drastically, especially with the handful of dece+ cycling targets. The thing that tips me is the rares - format looks pretty rare-centric and recursion looks like a big edge
