You would think they would want *more* hotels not fewer if they don’t want apartments being converted to rentals. But hey… what do I know ::shrug::

Look at the difference between NorCal and SoCal.
In the Bay, out of the 11 Senators repping urban areas, 8 voted yes.
In LA County, out of 13 Senators only 4 voted yes.
The LA delegation is killing housing bills.

@repauchincloss.bsky.social was one of the very first federal elected officials to embrace micromobility. He’s first class on all of our issues (also a good guy)

My wife and I both grew up there. My parents gave me fluoride pills and her’s didn’t. The difference in our dental health as adults is massive. Truly one of the best things my parents ever did for me.

I live one block from @caltrain.com and electrification has dramatically improved our quality of life. We no longer have to sweep black dust off our window sills and outdoor spaces. Our dauthter's asthma has lessened and even our indoor air quality is much, much better. Wins all around.

Oh awesome that the alignment is on the backend and how that works. Finding a way to keep local folks (if they’re good) in the loop seems to be a missing link in many systems.

Wow. That was two thumbs at their worst. I hope my question makes sense.

I particularly I how aligning electoral districts gives an added incentive. Did you have to Cc the relevant elected liaison or did it happen automatically?

Oh fascinating! Thanks for the detail. We sort of have that with sanitation (good) vs public works (bad). Interesting you can specifically differentiate via the 311 app. We can’t do that directly (only if you know the relevant categories and codes.

Sorry to be dense but what is s&s? (Out here in SF that doesn’t mean anything to me but any way we can figure out how to get faster service is essential)

I think it’s bad and noteworthy when the president announces his intention to burn the Constitution and overthrow the republic.
