Seeing claims about the judge "hiding" the defendant. Read the complaint, folks (written by DOJ). The guy was literally in the public area where the agents were. I guess he got on an elevator before they could get to him. The complaint says after letting the defendant exit she came back to the bench

And when he spouts this bilge where is the follow up to ask him what evidence he has of this, what experts he has consulted that allow him to draw these conclusions etc

What is it with these right wing charlatans, doing away with beloved figures? First Truss with the late queen, now Vance and il Papa

Tomi Lahren: "Trump has managed to isolate China from the rest of the world." BTC: "There's reporting now that Japan & South Korea are negotiating trade deals with China... the EU is eliminating Chinese EV tariffs. I'm concerned you're not familiar with which country is being isolated."

Got to say this going to say is a 3rd tier crew but actually a minus 100 tier advertisers describes better. I must be honest, I haven’t heard of any of those quoted - excellent!

Oh how precious of her - as if anyone wants to hear anything she has to say except the maga lunatics who seem to think she has some relevance. I’m not sure I’ve ever observed someone with such a lack of self-awareness.

It’s a cult. By absolutely no measure is trump even a mediocre president let alone a good one in anyone’s lifetime. Homan must think he is because he can’t believe his luck in getting such a job that he is so undeserving of. I’m staggered by the decline in every aspect of ‘official’ US since January

Replace ‘Harvard’ with ‘churches’ and he’s onto something…

Nigel Farage’s Reform are soft on Russia, voted against your rights at work, and want to sell off the NHS. They’re no friend to working people. When they bring division and hate, we must choose solidarity and hope.

Why am I thinking about Alan Partridge?

Two years after Byline Times published our first investigation, one of Dan Wootton's former colleagues alleges to the High Court that Wootton tricked him into sending intimate pictures and an explicit video of himself, while pretending to be a woman named "Maria Joseph" www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

🚨Some major errors & misleading claims from experienced presenter Nick Robinson on BBC Radio 4 Today, when discussing British Steel with Treasury Minister James Murray I hope these are corrected on tomorrow's programme, and Robinson sticks to the facts in future. Here's what he got wrong... 🧵

Nobody knows from one hour to the next what the policy of the US govt is that impacts trillions of dollars in global trade. There is no economic certainty for investors, corporations, or small businesses. Mad King Donald is determined to wreck this economy.

I am one of those IRL who spends time in in-line meetings (not zoom). We are a dispersed workforce that enables our teams to meet our clients where they are so for the rest of us being able to meet and support colleagues online works really well.

Really interesting side note. I didn’t watch Mad Men because the concept didn’t sit well with me but I can understand the ‘getting better’ concept in the same way as I viewed Mississippi Burning

Two heroic stray dogs rescued an injured dog from the middle of the road by dragging him to safety. The dog had been hit by a car and was stranded. Many cars passed by, but it was two stray dogs who pulled him off the road. The injured dog survived, and the stray dogs were rescued. 15/10 for both

I have tariffed the penguins that are on Heard Island and which you were probably assuming did not export goods forgive me they were taking advantage of us so cunning and so cold

For the record there's no possible "compromise" that could meet this description because the first and most important task of any constitution is to prevent the rise of a tyrant Nothing worth trading for that

So let me get this straight—Trump hit places with NO people and NO trade with the U.S. with tariffs… and it’s literally just penguins out there? PENGUINS???

"In many cases the friend is worse than the foe" Trump says. If my friends were Elon Musk, JD Vance, Vladimir Putin and Nigel Farage, I’d probably feel the same way.

Breaking Politico: Mike Waltz's team regularly set up chats on Signal — potentially as many 20 chats — to coordinate official work on issues including Ukraine, Gaza, and Mid East policy. Four people said they saw instances of sensitive information being discussed. www.politico.com/news/2025/04...

“Beautiful thing to watch.”

T’wasn’t a flask of Old Crow, so t’wasn’t Hegseth’s kin.

I can’t help thinking about this wonderful song by Thomas Benjamin Wild esq in relation to the whole Trump administration and these idiots in particular: www.youtube.com/watch?v=R14v...

I’m pretty sure he can be both incompetent and drunk

According to a source I have at the CIA, Director Radcliffe lied today under oath. Signal is absolutely not loaded on agency computers. As a matter of fact it’s specifically prohibited as an outside app. Skype is allowed for conference calls but not Signal. He’s lying. @markwarner.bsky.social

Collins: Do you think someone should be fired over this? Buttigieg: Absolutely… if there’s not accountability for a screw up like this, especially from a president who used to fire people on television for sport, what are we even doing here..

BENNET: Did you know that the president's Middle East adviser was in Moscow on this thread while you were as director of the CIA participating in this thread? Were you aware of that?! RATCLIFFE: I'm not aware of that BENNET: It's am embarrassment

WOW: @miamiherald.com reveals that a person imprisoned in El Salvador had LEGAL REFUGEE STATUS. He entered the USA legally in January and was detained because of his tattoos, EVEN THOUGH he had previously passed a full background check. Without warning, he was sent to El Salvador on March 15.

Wyden: "I'm of the view that there ought to be resignations, starting with the national security adviser and the secretary of defense."

Plausible since these well-financed adversaries probably have subscriptions to The Atlantic

He drinks a whiskey drink He drinks a vodka drink He drinks a lager drink He drinks a cider drink He sends a text that remind him of the war plans He sends a text that reminds him of the war crimes #Hegseth

Here’s an idea. When congressional Republicans eventually mount a Signalgate coverup, Dems can launch a minority inquiry. They wouldn’t have compulsory power, but they’d be able to solicit whistleblowers. And they could ask Goldberg to provide them all the messages and Hegseth’s strike document.

Goldberg indicates Hegseth lied when he denied texting war plans

Pete is right, as usual. These people cannot keep America safe. I’m embarrassed to be an American now more than ever. @petebuttigieg.bsky.social

💅

How many Signal chats with sensitive information about military operations are ongoing within the Pentagon right now? Where else are war plans being shared with such abject disregard for our national security? We need answers. Right now.

From an operational security perspective, this is the highest level of fuckup imaginable. These people cannot keep America safe.

Jeffries: "This is reckless, irresponsible, and dangerous. Who are some of these people that Donald Trump has put into the most sensitive national security positions in America? ... the secretary of defense who was on that chain has got to be the most unqualified person ever to lead the Pentagon."

I’m old enough to remember when Secretary Hegseth tried to publicly mock Judge Reyes—suggesting that she didn’t know what she was doing when it comes to protecting our national security. It was … two days ago.

Circling back on this…

"I WILL DO ALL I CAN DO ENFORCE 100% OPSEC," he texted directly to a journalist by mistake
