I hate these posts from MAGAs which complain that losing their job/livelihood/dream etc. is so unfair because they voted for him 3 times. And they agree with his policies. The inference is that it's fine for *other* people to lose out from his draconian policies, just not his loyal supporters.

The trouble with things not happening anymore (in this case, child death from measles) is that people start believing things won't happen anymore. As opposed to things not happening anymore because everyone who can is vaccinating against measles.
