I’m Irish living in the states & you’re right. I’m angry with democrats to an extent. But I also feel like democrats are not really the ones who can get us out of this. I think it’s going to take the scales falling off the eyes of republican voters. We really need them to put pressure on their party

If I understood correctly one of the problems is the USAID branding on the packages. I wonder if people could volunteer to put stickers on them or something so they could be put to use.

Absolutely disgusting. And wildly impractical, they think school kids should be carrying around passports or green cards or whatever? They can’t manage to bring hold on to a water bottle for more than a week

Historically, many people experienced books aloud when friends and family read to one another for evening entertainment. We also read to our children to promote reading skills and language development. Audiobooks definitely count.
