You know, when I was a kid growing up in what we now call the "developing world", the rich people had onsite housing for staff. They were called servants quarters.

Yeah, all that. And better leadership from elected D officials at all levels of government, especially Federal. The latter has been sorely lacking.

Seems to me the USPS and affected parties (your org, or example) should be filing suit.
You could cite Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 from this quaint doc we call "the Constitution".

IMO hiring Clement is to get something on the record. It's likely Ho grants the DoJ request because of deference to the prosecutor, but at least he can point to something that may (hopefully) point out inconsistencies and flaws.

Yep. And the negative effects on the DC economy will of course be blamed on the DC government, and used as another excuse to deny statehood.

And did he spell out what he's going to do?
Or is he going to do what Dems do: workshop a response with a focus group and have endless debates about what to do so no one faction is offended?

Pardon me if I don't feel any sympathy for these people. The only thing they can do to redeem themselves (in their eyes not mine) is to vote for a Dem in the next election.
