Today is rare disease day. I suffer from two of them: Gastroparesis and CIDP. Sometimes it makes my work extremely difficult, as if the nature of the work itself isn’t difficult enough already. 300m people in the world live with rare diseases, and they aren’t always visible. But we exist.
