So, my initial non-spoilery thoughts 8 hours in: love that Studio Ghibli art style, music is heavenly, enemy design is great. I'm still getting used to how familiars work, and the battles play out way differently than how I expected. But hopefully, with practice, I'll get the hang of it.

Finished Bug Fables! Really fun game. Captured the feel of the Paper Mario games pretty well. Fingers crossed for a sequel in the future, I'd definitely play it. Time to take a look at the backlog again!
