Thank you, it is great! Yes that absolutely sounds right. The nurse tag seems to have stuck with her for a while (viz this cartoon) and she was also involved with legislative attempts to draft nurses during shortages in WW2.

Gosh! I don’t know, but have not come across any mention of it and their families don’t look to have come from the same areas. A shame, it is an unusual name…
