Senator, the people are united on what’s needed NOW: vote NO on the CR that:
👎🏽 further emboldens Trump et al. to treat our democracy as his personal kingdom,
👎🏽 cuts critical funding to Medicaid, Medicare and SSA,
👎🏽 cuts $1 billion from the DC budget and undermines DC Home Rule.

Senator, we can withstand the short term effects of a shutdown.
We may NOT be able to crawl back to a working democracy if Trump and Musk are given MORE power! The people need you to save our democracy. We are in a crisis of a lifetime, please rise to the occasion.
