I don't give out my number. I use social media to maintain a boundary with a few because they are immediate family and the I will call your boss to talk to you if you don't text me back. I have ADHD so you can imagine how that goes with texting.

I'm not American. News is already blocked for us on FB. We have existing hate speech legislation so not as entrenched in free speech debate etc. We don't share the same experiences.

How close to a flood zone is Mar-a-Lago? I have never descended to googling it. I wouldn't want to live in a Florida basement or is that the intent 🧐

The bar is pretty low on "who displays more sanity". Vance gives me "lay low and hide and plot behind Donnie's back". He"s got an orange voodoo doll and a stash of pins.

I had to pause a minute to recall the name of his VP as a non American. Has Vance been dropped in a dark hole? I haven't seen any signs of life from him since the election.

History has routinely taught us that it's mighty hard to take land from people who can defend themselves in a rugged or frigid environment. Even if you take ground maintaining it is often a waste of effort.

Opposite coast to all my friends and family. Everyone older than me (xennial) uses no other platform and take it as a death blow if you disengage with it. Most of my military friends still have accounts solely to see updates from others even if they never post themselves.

I was with you until his return. I don't see anyone being keen to give him another opportunity. I think a moderate Conservative would stand a better chance if the party would tolerate choosing one.
comment in response to post
This was the expected outcome weeks ago. He should have done this earlier and given the party a fighting chance to rebuild. Who is chosen may have an impact on vote splitting but won't win them the next election.

Awww love this for them. They are going to have such a fun wedding.

Moved to my current city and there are 3 musical directors in one public high school alone. Last city had one teacher for four schools. 🇨🇦 Have province vs have not.

Excellent choice of a recipient.

Standard fare profiles directed at women. Never a Sgt or Podiatrist.

I'm getting the besotted surgeons and generals. Funny thing is we are a military/medical household and neither are really a flex for me.

There is one directly across the street from me. There are four nearby. I'm in one of the other CRD municipalities but they are prevalent throughout the region.

Landed in my mailbox last night. The maple leaves are obviously appealing. 🇨🇦

Same folk who drop smoldering cigarette butts, think forest fires are being intentionally set by people, and are oblivious to the fact they are the people in that equation.

The court itself is prone to acts of violence in their decisions of late.

Congratulations. Someone is going to have a fabulous array of knits I predict

The past would have a President gather with experts to be briefed while a speech with a well crafted message was being prepared. Now it's incoherent ramblings on social media with no consultations.

His focus is almost exclusively on immigrants being dangerous, while actively dodging the fact that born and raised US citizens can be capable of terrorism. Too busy peering out the window at the neighbours to notice the danger in the livingroom.

She does. No other memory entry for that name combo.

Blue sky needs to link. I don't know what conversation we were having 🧐

Same folk think Trump is for the people and understands their living conditions. How someone that was driven to school in a limo is relatable to them remains a head scratcher.

Eh. I'm a grandmother and know her name. It's been pushed heavily.

I'd expect it from someone who was raised with free trips and gifts from the care and attention she received from outsiders. She doesn't have much experience not using others for personal gain.
comment in response to post
Not particularly surprised by that.

Not the first time a terrorist was trained by the US military either.

That would read "in history" elsewhere.

As a non American I assumed he was, because of the RFK example honestly.

Nothing about either that red solo cup or his comments shows any indication of the existence of grace.

I was going to ask which man the guests were treating like an imbecile, father or son? Since both are I can't deduce as to who Don Jr. was referring to in the quote.
comment in response to post
All he needed to do is stoke up anger and fear in people who are discontented with their lives and point at the incumbents to blame..same scenario is playing out globally. He doesn't have to do anything productive at all.

What a coincidence. I have tickets to the same event.

Both my MLA and MP are NDP. Van Island here.

I like many others would vote Liberal with a new leader. I despise Pierre. Likely NDP as I'm in the thick of orange power.

As a Canadian I can be open and honest with my doctors and use it in conjunction with other treatment plans. Works well for digestive condition with accompanying joint pain. I use CBD oil capsules.

Canadian history is voting people out instead of enthusiastically voting people in. BQ will gain seats, Lib/NDP will fight over third.

I don't blame Freeland at all for refusing to accept the position she was put in. Doing that to one of his best allies lies on Trudeau knowing he is facing down an election. He should have been replaced after SNC Lavalin or the We scandal so they looked serious in dealing with corruption.
comment in response to post
The Liberals best bet was to choose a new leader a couple years ago. Not doing so is how they are doing so badly in the polls. Freeland jumping ship just further cements the issues with his leadership style.

In that case I'll wait for the volcanoes or cabled plate tectonics follow up.

I grew up in a region that gave kids time off to harvest potatoes. Still quite common.

As someone with colitis, inflammation definitely leaves some unique shapes. Polyps or other growths will leave things looking like ribbon candy. You're welcome for the imagery.

Just bought it, thank you. We are on Vancouver Island here in Canada so surrounded by forest, mountain, and ocean. It's the perfect fit for a knit gift from mom.

It's a great shot. I started scrolling looking for his story because I was intrigued by the photo.
