Only thing is the veins don’t pop like they do with the gold. Either way it’s a lot of fun 🤩

I want it to look like it’s been silver dipped. Which it does kinda :)

Tbh the thickness is a bit naughty for such an expensive pipe. The glass would break with one knock. I might get one at some point then :)

Oh wow that’s sick!

My inner autist hates the smudge and thinks it has ruined the whole piece.
‘It’s ruined, throw it away!’
Nah, it’s a first go, I’ll get better at it :)
Maybe I can make it an actual fingerprint of glue and go over it with a larger thumb print in gold?

I’m gonna try one leaf just on its own, without the drawing. Will be easier to glue and lay the gold leaves and have sharper edges than this.
Maybe I need to do this the other way around…
I have silver leaf too, I might have to go silver on the next! It’s the last leaf dried and pressed I have.

These fans were huge and so perfect I pressed them about six months ago in a pile of books between some wax paper.
They’re very fragile so I sprayed them with a few coats of clear varnish. Also protects from fading as more UV resistant.
Then used spray mounting glue to apply to the drawing :)

I like to surprise people with the scope and wow them just how complex it all is down there!

It would also be illegal to do it in the UK still, (grow to save your life) but damn would I fight it in court if it happened.

I’ve got a scope on a stand and just cut a few sugar leaves from different places and check under the scope and average them out. Damn, I’m sorry to hear that my friend but you’re absolutely doing the right thing with the cannabis. You’re already expert, I’d do the same if I got a cancer dx. 🤷🏻♀️ 🫶💚

Oh wow, that’s cool! We grow mushrooms so I know a fair bit about mycelium and have read that great book, erm, here

For me that’s bang when I harvest. Like 10% ambers 70% cloudy and a few clear. A week from these pics is harvest time! 💚💚💚

Definitely. Insect frass is one of the soil ingredients too. With seaweed and rock dust. The mycorrhizal fungi are equally good at boosting growth. They’re ready to join to the roots and start exchanging nutes. I use dried powdered microbe tea now but used to make it in buckets with bubblers lol

I have a soil mixing post somewhere on here with what I put in. About half a dozen dried NPK amendments plus myco and water in and leave for a couple of weeks.
comment in response to

I do! That’s premixed into the soil with myco. They barely need any extra nitrogen tbh. I reuse the last set of soil for the next too 50:50 with fresh lite mix. Seems to be working well. I try to rely on the amendments and feed bio-bizz top max and some bloom with microbe tea weekly as needed :)

Unlike photos which get a 1:1 N and K autos don’t need much nitrogen. Nitrogen is responsible for foliage and stems. Autos need for N reduces as it starts to put all its energy into flowering. Phosphorus is mainly required for flower production. Still only small doses. Small plants need less feed!!

I admit I’m rubbish at this 🙈 but I’m also keeping my head down for now so it’s no biggie. Might take a few years to be able to do things properly. Hope you’re good Ruth x

No, but they’re not designed to, the ruderalis wild gene keeps them all compact and faster growing. It’s all personal preference really, I get similar yields from four photos as six autos and like to play around with both. Some of the newer stuff is really fuckin tasty 🤤

Ok that’s two years, lol. Have I been on here that long?!

All I need is a penny farthing now and I can go and smoke my pipe on a park bench!

Nature gives us them in the autumn before first frost to gather and dry to help us through the rough times in the winter. It’s a beautiful gift. :)

Once ground they’ll definitely deteriorate in strength faster than whole dried. We don’t know but I always say a year. You definitely should have felt 0.5g.

He has himself been diagnosed with ADHD and has two sons that have ADHD. And his primary job was a family doctor in Canada. He’s a fascinating guy I’m sure there will be some stuff on YouTube about this very topic. He advocated for addicts before anyone else in Canada so he’ll always be my hero lol

If you haven’t read any Gabor máte I’d highly recommend scattered minds. Or he has one for parents with ADHD kids. He’s a dr and has also done psychedelics. Very wise on this stuff.

Yeah ketamine is more for chronic depression. There’s some data but not loads to support its use in chronic long term depression. If you can find a local provider of dried psilocybin mushroom you could even make your own micro doses. 0.05 to 01g is in the microdose range. This chart is useful :)

The stimulants can help don’t get me wrong. Sometimes they’re the most useful but won’t help resolve the symptoms. Just manage them, a bit. Psilocybin scores lowest on the harms to self and society charts. It’s very low risk compared to stimulants. Often adhd comes from childhood trauma, psi helps

I have ADHD and my subjective experience as an adult has been absolutely positive. I can focus more and get really creative with microdoses. There’s also the ongoing effect of it lifting mood. It’s subtle but profound. Definitely worth a shot before stimulants I’d say. 🧚🏻

In micro doses a common experience is to help us get through stubborn issues or challenges we face.
Psilocybin (or psilocin as the body processes it) forces new brain connections and neurons to fire.
It forces us to look at things from a different angle and put things to bed.
