Hopefully they'll try this in a stand your ground state and find out that the 2nd amendment doesn't only apply to them...

Can people stop saying the US is "sliding into" fascism. You're in it already. You've been there for weeks now.

Not to most of the media, they don't care whether they get the truth, just that they get something that gets them views or clicks...

"Those" young men think that they won't need porn when they're all issued government mandated wives that they can rape as much as they want like something from The Handmaid's Tale...

I wonder how long until they implement a Great Firewall of America to try to prevent people accessing any "obscene" websites outside the USA (i.e. any website that criticises the regime in any way, or has any mention of T̶i̶a̶n̶a̶n̶m̶e̶n̶ ̶S̶q̶u̶a̶r̶e̶ January 6th)

How long until the book burnings start?

When the claim is 100% true yet Snopes still gives it a "mixed" rating because Rubio made up some nonsensical excuse for his blunder 🙄

Unfortunately it no longer really matters how good your lawyers are when the law is "whatever Dear Leader says it is".
comment in response to post
The wildest thing about this is that they're attempting to interpret the intention behind the act as if it's some thousand year old biblical manuscript. If they really want to know how the people who wrote the law intended it to be interpreted they could just... *ask them*?!

They can still just say "women" and have it include trans women if they want, the ruling only defines the word "woman" WRT its usage in the EA2010 to define the protected category of sex, it doesn't police people's usage of the word outside of that context.
comment in response to post
I've not yet read the ruling, but surely such lists will *always* still be able to include trans women if they choose to? It's just that maybe they can also choose to exclude them?

Not to mentions the specific generations who are old right now were exposed to loads of lead when they were younger...

(Plus all the lead in their brains doesn't help...)

I don't think it's even populations, I just think it's specific generations (mainly boomers and gen X) due to the socioeconomic conditions they grew up through, and cannot be extrapolated at all to later generations...

There have been several man-made economic crises. But this is the first made entirely by just *one* man.

Punching Nazis is good, actually.

The AV referendum result was just like a test-run for the Brexit referendum. People only voted "no" because the right-wing press told them to, because they have a vested interest in keeping FPTP...

It is always morally correct to punch Nazis.

Just like there's no way I'd travel to Saudi Arabia, there's also no way I'd travel to the US under the Trump regime. As someone who has been vocally anti-Trump on Twitter (when I still used Twitter) I would not feel safe travelling to a country that persecutes their political enemies.

Or they start mumbling something about gametes. Then when you mention that not everyone can produce gametes, they come up with some hand-wavy nonsense about being "arranged around" or "developing towards" producing certain gametes. It's all deepy unscientific.

There was a single instance of material, I think within the NHS, that suggested that chestfeeding might be a possible alternative *when specifically talking to/about trans men*. But literally nobody has ever suggested that it should be used when talking about cis women.

Gender-changing George/Georgia, who lives in a cave and changes their gender 10,000 times a day, is an outlier and should not have been counted.

Is that really that different to the current day Conservatives though?

Yeah, people are acting like they trained a model entirely from scratch for this cost, when what they've actually done is just take existing models and distill them down into more efficient ones. It's impressive but couldn't exist without the more expensive ones already existing first...

If an officer gets injured doing their duty, then dies later on as a result of those injuries, then they died in the line of duty. This shouldn't be too hard to understand for anyone who isn't as thick as pig shit like you.
