It is a terrifying time when technology is moving so fast with quantum computing, AI, and "new states of matter." Yet, so many people (at least in this country) are lost in misinformation, anti-intellectualism, and mental torpor caused by the virtual worlds created by technology.

The problem is this authora & many others don't realise that you cannot compare X to Twitter, X to Bsky. When I log into X I am presented with hate speech, terrorist content, gore, mass shooter videos. Bsky and its community is not an echo chamber for refusing to accept this content in our feeds.

Denouncing genocide is not antisemitic. Thinking Netanyahu is a war criminal is not antisemitic. Disagreeing with the Israeli state is not antisemitic. I disagreed with America going into Iraq after 9/11. I do not believe that a whole society should be destroyed due to the actions of a few.
