This is why you fight these cowards. The moment you stand up to them, they crumble. Homan has nothing. The Fourth Amendment is clear and I am well within my duties to educate people of their rights. He can threaten me with jail and call names all he wants. He’s got nothing else.

You need to understand that the complete failure of the news media - and therefore, the public - to react to Musk’s constitutional coup is overwhelmingly the fault of the Democrats. Republicans want no reaction, so it’s incumbent upon Dems to create one, and they have simply refused.

Yes this absolutely a dynamic: the obvious reality that voters are responding to media zeitgeist (and increasingly social media zeitgeist) doesn’t advance anyone’s factional interests so it’s boring to pundits and strategists who see their job as advancing their intra-party faction
