Raise your hand if you brought out a leaf blower for Pentecost!

I've started a new podcast called "The Rest of the Sermon" containing additional thoughts and things that went unsaid during Sunday's message. I’m trying to gain traction, so if you'd be so kind as to listen, like, subscribe, and share I'd greatly appreciate it! #podcast #sermon #christianity

It’s been 7 years since a photo I took somehow made its way to @markhamillofficial.bsky.social

The Power We Refuse to Use Sometimes words like “Holy Spirit,” “power,” and “boldness” can make folks a little uncomfortable. Especially in many mainline denominations, including ours. We don’t want to be seen as “those kinds” of Christians—too emotional, too unhinged, too... charismatic. So…

New episode of the podcast is up. In this episode of we explore what it means to live with living hope in a world full of fear, fatigue, and frustration. If you're tired of shallow optimism and hungry for something more anchored, this episode is for you. Please give it a listen, like, and share!

A little over a year ago we thought we were going to lose our golden Penny. Thankful she’s still around and being the goof she is. ☀️

The hypocrisy of politicians trying to legislate morality while being morally corrupt is mind-boggling.

Sunday, May 25, 2025 A Living Hope for Right Now Today we talked about living hope—how Peter, once filled with fear and failure, became a bold voice of resurrection confidence. We looked at 1 Peter 1:3–5 and Romans 5:1–5, and we were reminded that hope isn’t just a concept—it’s alive because Jesus…

I’ve started blogging again. As the pastor of older and fairly conservative country churches, there's often a lot left unsaid in the sermon. Each week I'll share additional thoughts and things left unsaid. You can find this week’s here: therestofthesermon.com/2025/05/18/m...

Seems like Shedeur’s draft room was a good investment since he’ll be using it for two nights instead of one. #nfldraft

Just had this on the Instagram timeline. A genuine catholic priest, called Fr. David Michael Moses, and it raised a chuckle.

I don’t know what’s worse: billionaires deciding people with nothing deserve less or people with nothing deciding billionaires deserve more.

This is priceless from someone who wears guy-liner.

Happy National Pet Day!

If I don’t stop gaining weight my wife and I are going to be able to do one of those maternity photo shoots.

We are officially in “The Phantom Menace” stage of vehicle design. #starwars

This is our Lucy. This poor cat has been through it. Were her third home and since she’s been with us she’s had two dental surgeries and only has her front teeth left. She’s the sweetest, most loving cat you’ve ever seen. She also doesn’t lay down, she falls over.

15 years ago today I was in the hospital recovering from my second bowel resection due to a Crohn’s outbreak. Thankful that I’m doing well these days and my current regime is working.

Please enjoy my cartoon in today's Toronto Star

*whispers* happy new year
