I once wrote a book for Rowman & Littlefield. Last year, R&L sold its academic publishing business to Bloomsbury Publishing, which has now sent out messages that they will no longer issue royalty checks -- direct deposit or wire transfers only now. No opt-out. Bank charges a fee? Your problem. 1/3
