And of course you'll see this applies in less overtly violent situations, too. Like when the residential tenancy branch doesn't enforce its own rules around evictions and tenant relocation, leaving developers and landlords to run roughshod over people and the homes they've lived in for years

One thing you'll learn very quickly when you start protesting about something is that the law only matters insofar as the people vested with the power to use violence freely allow something to happen, regardless or whether it's "legal" or not

So glad you're here! A friend showed me some of your animated Detroit stuff on Twitter but I don't go there any more, so glad I can follow you here. The stuff you're doing is unreal, really excited to keep seeing your work!

Went there for the first time some years ago to get a rice cooker and yeah, with you 100%

I like the first one primarily because verbing "silly goose" makes it extra funny

the way to stop people doing nazi shit is to create an environment where doing nazi shit immediately gets you jumped by six guys, do not pass go, ass kicking first and ask questions later. every goth & punk bar on god's gay earth already figured this out in the 90s

When sue first became playable i was testing her out and someone playing Mr fantastic started following me around verrry closely in the lobby. It was fine and they were chill but definitely unexpected at first lol

Context for this latest one is this @thetyee.ca story which starts with some awful out-loud racism. Immigrants are "scaring the women away" even though in other circumstances they're "taking all the women"
Anyway fuck this guy and everyone who thinks like him. Also the political party he works for

Anyway on the one hand I don't really expect a military or political annexation beyond the economic one we've already got (in all but name) but given what's going on down south who the heck knows

Oh no it was clear
I just meant anyone who has nails that are cool enough to be interpreted as gay is going to appreciate that interpretation

I don't want to contradict this extremely respectable and reasonable thing to say from someone much smarter and more knowledgeable than me which I basically agree with, but also

The best thing about gay nails is that even if they weren't intended that way, it's still a compliment

I never made cut offs funnily enough, even though there were times it would have given me a perfect dirtbag look

Funnily enough I don't think my immediate circle had much of a name for them. I just called them "baggy jeans" lol

I opened this because I liked the clips I would get fed to me on Twitter (is the librarian on this app too) and ended up watching that cup throwing game for three minutes straight. I need to get out of bed!!

Yeah i saw that in high school and I thought it was fine and sometimes funny but I bet I'd have a very different response if I were to watch it now!
