Acquiescence to the denial of rights to one group is the knife opening the oyster to denial to all. Gays and lesbians, no-contest divorce, child custody, the right to just *exist* as a woman…all of these are up for grabs if you dismiss the threat to trans people.

I have two autistic kids. Autistic kids can hear you when you constantly talk about what does or does not cause autism. They understand that you're talking about how to prevent more kids like them. Meanwhile I'd like to see a lot more people like my kids replace the people in power.
