Never attend a protest if (1) you don’t know who organized it (2) there are no safety observers (3) you haven’t received safety training/checklist. Protest but be safe

We could also have a debate about whether healthcare should be a human right. That would be a good debate to have.

It's tangential, but Eno always reminds me of Ry Cooder's work on the soundtrack for the movie Paris, Texas.

Thank you for putting a stake in the ground. Basic research, NIH, the collective research of universities, endowments, foundations and hospitals are national treasures that we give to the world for the betterment of mankind. History will not be kind to these nihilistic arsonists.

The destruction of the US biomedical infrastructure is on these men. This is their legacy. This is what they will be remembered for. 8/

There is NO rationale for their actions, but a nihilism about the state, which runs roughshod over the interests of a nation, the health and well-being of millions in the USA and around the world. /7

The fundamental point is: they are coming for trans people because they are coming for queer people because they are coming for cis women because they are coming for Black people

And the use of the word "mutilation" is straight up fear-mongering. Incredibly offensive. I've often thought: They could ban all elective plastic surgery for people under 18, but then the sorority aspirations of rich girls who want bigger breasts and more demure noses would be jeapordized !

The number of times I have raged in the middle of the night over the way the bottom corner of my covers is situated! Uncountable!

I wish there was a huge public information campaign about how to contact your reps and how powerful that can be -- ESPECIALLY for the voters who made red states red.

Took 6 months after a ski accident (in which I did not lose consciousness) before I was able to safely think clearly enough to drive. The older you are the longer it takes to recover. Guidelines/outcomes for young athletes do not apply to menopausal women like myself. Wish I had received PT.
