We must begin creating friendships with our neighbors as an antidote to impending natural (and imposed unnatural) catastrophic events. We can get through together better when we befriend.

โHere lies my old Facebook identity, consumed by a corporation headed by a craven, money-hoarding empty suit. I shed my Facebook body, freed from political and religious effluvium, conformity and an endless parade of irrelevant advertisements.โ

What if we each created our own epitaph on Facebook as we leftโa sort of preemptive gesture towards our โlegacy accountโ?

My parents put me in a Catholic all-girl high school shortly after that time period because I was fast becoming a neon angel on the road to ruin.

And demented--don't forget demented. I have seen his scowl on the faces of men locked behind chicken-wire security glass doors in a gero-psychiatry ward. (I picked up medical records there some years ago.) You don't forget that frozen facial expression of grievance.

Our tabby (in my profile pic) was named after busy Howe Ave, where he was found as a kitten. His true name is Howie. He is truly Howe-ie.

It looks like a policy decision that could induce random, unpredictable blowback--kind of like what happened with the United Healthcare CEO. I would not mess with the U.S. military, ever. Think about all the weaponry and tech training they've received, the behavioral health challenges many endure.

Ha! Yes, and it's why I've been enjoying the series Heartland. Just horses and adults working things out together and beautiful Canadian landscapes.

Started sending cards to folks in my neighborhood who either had Pride flags and/or Harris Walz signs up in their front yard. So far, I have befriended the sweetest trans couple. We now send each other texts including pics of our beloved cats. I'm gonna keep trying to build grassroots community. ๐

Thank you for your insights! ๐ I wonder if the degree of the House cusp as a Sabian symbol interpretation is helpful. Aquarius is on my 6th House cusp, so I let my eccentricity out at my job. I'm just gonna be me. ๐

Rebecca, it's a new platform for me, too, and I hope to make the best of it. I'm looking for spaces to share more positive ideas. And I love your opinionatedness on FB. Plus, we share the same birthday!
