This is a great thread. If you've managed complex data systems that need the ability to model the state of the data at a point in time, you understand how difficult this all is. These chucklefucks look at the data for an afternoon and think they've got it all figured out and can do better

Had to get a passport-style photo taken at a Walgreens in the US and a weird guy walked past and said "hell yeah white boy you take that picture" and I laughed for a full minute. I can tell I'm still fighting not to laugh in this but it's probably not too obvious right. Do I need to retake this

Really enjoyed replaying Half-Life 2. The updated HDR lighting is incredible in places, far exceeding what you would expect a game from 2004 to look like. It inspired me to go and take some screenshots. (1/2) #halflife2 #valve
