There's no way it's still interesting after girlfriend 20. I don't think it's mathematically possible

Thing is I feel like the conclusion of this is more "poser" than "sockpuppet"

I guess the first thing is kind of odd; I have been a fan of things without tweeting about them much but I guess I wasn't ever really a "fandom person" so it's weirder in this case However I did also go to college and I don't think I really tweeted about any of those things when I was there

Like you talk about "undermining inconvenient people" but I don't think that there's serious enough anti government organizing in the vocaloid fandom for that to be worth this kind of infiltration and anything more serious is not dependent enough on that fandom to be crippled by drama in it

I mean while it is possible to stir up moral anger for personal benefit I don't really see evidence of any personal benefit happening here. If they're similar to grifters, you'd need to identify the actual grift; to what end would they be doing this?

Are you talking about the person who tweeted this? If so I really don't think their account seems abnormal and the fed thing is pretty clearly a bit imo.

I generally dont argue with people on bsky but I do not like how the "government agent" meme has spread out of political circles where it had a shred of plausiblity into the general discourse, allowing people to think they're brave rebels for posting and anyone who disagrees with them must be paid

People would definitely have to be paid off by the government to dislike a song where the voice of a 9 year old makes fun of your tiny dick. It must be a plot by the government to kneecap the radical anti government actions of the vocaloid community.

iirc it's sampled in a few places on the Drakengard soundtrack, most notably at the start of this www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGwK...

I think this joke is improved by the fact that you have made significantly more than 3 youtube videos

Basically the only shot you have against Steam is by offering people something Steam can't or won't give them, and artificially creating that situation via exclusivity deals will do nothing but make everyone hate you and want you to die

The closest thing to a competitor steam has right now is GOG, and that's cause GOG explicitly angles to be something you use -in addition- to Steam, not to the exclusion of it, and do something distinctly different; offering old games for modern platforms. Shit like the EGS will never, ever work

Not even getting into the fact that gamers are, broadly, more informed and attentive than other consumers and will always react to some giant company trying to strong arm their way into the space with suspicion if not outright hostility. Very hard to not come off as, essentially, a carpetbagger

Part of the problem with 'disrupting steam' in the modern environment is that on the consumer end (and even on the dev end in ways other than the cut they take) is pretty good. It's hard for me to even imagine how you could improve on the things Steam already does.

Tom King's entire personality is that dril tweet about being mad that he went to torture school and people don't like torture anymore
