The year I made my decision to take over one of the judges invited was very vocal about hating judging costume contests, and was very obviously angry he was doing it. I knew the competitors deserved better, so I took over and got aggressive that the one running the contest needed to invite judges.

So I run a costume competition and I can tell you how, organizers who invite people to judge who have no experience, or very little experience in craftsmanship. If your judge is someone who has never made cosplay, are very new, or simply doesn't care this would get by everytime.

Yeah like we used to be super close then I noticed they slowly stopped messaging me first, and they never invite me to hang out anymore.
At this point I'm more bothered by thinking it should bother me.
