I have been really enjoying it so far! Holgas are fun too. I've got a roll sitting in mine that I need to shoot.

I've heard about those knobs being prone to breaking. I'll remember that. Thanks!

Same! It's a great little camera!

I've spent the better part of a decade chasing that sharp, high MP perfection. Only now my favorite photos are none of that. Great photo!

Retail.

I do the same. I just started developing so this was the first 35mm I've done. I did 2 rolls of 120 before this with no issues.

That is amazing but wow the inconvenience of large format. Lol. Grainy Days just put out a video of him putting the digital back on his Hasselblad. It's so cool that you can do that...with unlimited budget of course. 🙃

Hopefully. Wish me luck!

Nikon has the best glass! I do miss that. My next camera purchase is going to be a TLR. Either Yashica or an Autocord. I love the look of those square photographs!

Where as I use both lol. Never understood that rival. Its like Playstation versus Xbox. Started out with Nikon and switched to Canon because I liked the UI better for digital. I still love my Nikon FE2 though.

No worries. Everyone was so helpful! There was several things I'm going to try on the next roll, main one using a wetting agent at the end to stop the water marks. Also I learned that I wasn't agitating enough. Lastly need to let the film dry for longer.

Thank you so much!

I just don't want to do it accidentally. Lol Thanks!
comment in response to post
Of course not. There's not that many on this app.

Let me know how it turns out. I've been looking into it a bit. Might try a different dilution and changing the agitation.
comment in response to post
Gotcha. That's some things I can try. From looking online, using a squeegee is controversial, to say the least.
comment in response to post
So you think more agitation? I was doing 10 seconds every minute for the 5 1/2 minutes of development.

HC-110. Dilution B.
comment in response to post
Do you think too much or not enough? I did every minute for around 10 seconds.
comment in response to post
It is very fulfilling! I'm using Kodak HC-110 Dilution B now, but with this roll I used the Ilford starter pack.

So you just shoot it as is and push it when developing?

Good to know, though I can't set the ISO with a Holga. I'm sure I'll be using Kentmere again with other cameras so I'll keep that in mind.
comment in response to post
Yeah, I think a lack of contrast and sharpness is mainly due to the Holga when shot. That plastic lens and guessing on the focal range is tough to get a sharp image. As for scanning, thank you for the advice. Not so much these but future photos I want to get the most I can out of them.

That's awesome that you have a lab near you that will teach you developing. I don't think I have anything like that around here. Good part is that if you can home develop color, all you have to do is get new developer for black and white. You should have everything else needed.
comment in response to post
You're starting with color? That's cool. Black and white is easier (so I've heard). I'll eventually get to learning color. Good luck! It's super fun!

That's awesome! Yeah, there was one spit up and one pee incident. It is very different than anything else. Fun, though I'm not sure if I would want to do it for a living. 😉
