Annie surprised me with tickets to see the final performance of Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) at the Lincoln Center by the Metropolitan Opera. What an incredible production! Stunningly staged with wonderful performances. Such a wonderful night out in New York!

I absolutely loved this performance. Choreography was fresh with excellent use of light and shadows. I’m not that familiar with his work, but I’ll definitely be listening to his songs more now. Hard hitting and poignant lyrics. He didn’t shy away and I applauded him for it.
