On the one hand, organized religion is a system of control and oppression. On the other hand, this guy looks demon possessed.

I grew up in northern NH and moved to Boston and then Tampa Bay once I reached adulthood. Rural New England was pretty tolerant, etc. back in the 90s and is still better than the rural southern states, but the "Trumpification" of rural America has spread everywhere like cancer.

Wealthy, urban, liberal-leaning states like California and New York pay more in federal taxes, while rural, conservative-leaning states like Mississippi and Kentucky receive more in federal aid. Effectively, urban areas subsidize rural areas via federal redistribution.

My favorite is local politicians (in FL) with lines like "the most important thing to know about me is that I'm an evangelical". 🤣

Yes! And it doesn't end in 2 months. We must be vigilant in identifying unconstitutional acts or unreasonable infringements on individual liberty, and we must be prepared to address them.

MAGA hypocrisy has no limits.

This is vile. If your taxes are not for funding birth control, mine are not for indoctrinating children into your cult.

It isn't just about messaging. The Left must wield its power more effectively—to defend liberty, public education, compassion, and tolerance. Gaslighting is MAGA's only true power.

Has she considered giving not being a hateful wretch a try? It might engender more positivity in her life than shamelessly pandering to the patriarchy.

Yes! Democratic leadership (and any other liberty-minded people) need to organize openly and set clear boundaries with Trump. They need to make it clear that liberty will not be sacrificed at the altar to his ego.

No fear, no fury—action. Organize, assemble, form coalitions. When Trump and his sycophants inevitably violate the constitution (whether or not the partisan US Supreme Court acknowledges it), nullify that crap in liberal strongholds and cut off federal funding.

Agreed! I don't care what motivated them. A vote for Trump is a vote for more than half of the country to be treated as second-class citizens. They are complicit.

MAGA assumes that it can act with impunity and that the left will always kowtow to it. I look forward to the day that ceases to be true.

And any government capable of that is illegitimate.

Blue states need to organize openly and keep defunding the federal government as a credible threat of liberty is not maintained.

Liberal cities and states need to organize and resist. Set clear red lines. Be prepared to nullify unconstitutional federal acts and defund the federal government.

Just when I thought it wasn't possible to be more ashamed of my home state, Senator Rick Scott took it to the next level.

Yes! I’m tired of hearing that liberals should court rural, “moderate” voters in conservative states. It should be enough that we already provide financial support to many of those voters.

I hear you, but our system is corrupt. We essentially have liberal enclaves funding people in states whose votes don't align with their interests. In effect, they fund their own oppression.

Queen Elonia’s debut was underwhelming. I could help her with that.
