You really haven't been paying close attention this past 16 years??? The game has changed. That play you are proposing is from an outdated playbook.

Because there is a better use of their time? The electorate needs to catch all of this smoke. Democracy is only as good as its participation. Perhaps a lot of hardship can incentivize people to get off of their butts and vote.

Are we still mad about Biden's pardons, now?

America is being terrorized by the children of apartheidists (Musk, Thiel, et al) and the grandchildren of the confederacy. They are not descendants of Americans. They are the descendants of immigrants and traitors to America.

We the citizen can have that take. We the citizen should raise our voices thru expressions of outrage & protest. That is our job until we exercise our power thru the vote. Our elected officials should do their jobs which is to debate, advocate, educate, persuade & compromise without capitulating.

If one of "those" refers to someone interested in protecting the right to vote, then yes!

No clown....millions of voters were disenfranchised. Plus, that same voter who didn't vote for Harris also didn't vote for Trump. At best 33% of the electorate supports that POS which says more about them (and maybe about you) than it does about him.

It wasn't over half the country.

Money is the only power and influence. Boycott the states of Republicans who are not behaving like a coequal part of the government. Boycott products from companies who manufacture in Thom Tillis' North Carolina and Mike Johnson's Louisiana #boycottredstates

They are not in compliance. They feel they are above the law. The branch of government charged with executing the law is not going to do anything about it. We are f*cked unless Congress votes to impeach & remove Trump which they will not be given the chance to do as long as maga has the house.

Additionally, we have to find a way to pressure senators into doing their jobs which does not entail rubber stamping the executive branch. Tillis is responsible for making US less safe by confirming under qualified individuals for cabinet positions. We should boycott manufacturers from his state, NC

As if Trump's first term in office wasn't filled with chaos. How old is this voter?
comment in response to post
That is fair game. I am not trying to be ideological here though. I am taking issue with people seeking a seat in the legislative branch and not fulfilling their responsibility to be a check and balance to the judicial and executive branches. #boycottredstates
comment in response to post
I think it did. The legislative branch is not upholding its duty largely due to maga Republicans but the people still have the power. Confirming Hegseth, Patel, Gabbard, etc makes us all less safe. Boycott products from the states where both senators voted to confirm these people #boycottredstates
comment in response to post
Georgia Senators are not rubber stamping Trump's agenda. They are not voting to confirm unqualified people into positions that make us less safe. The states of the Senators who are and did would be more appropriate #boycottredstates
comment in response to post
I think a more targeted strike is appropriate #boycottredstates GOP legislators are not hehaving as equal co-members of govt, at the expense of voters. The everyday voter who opposes the extreme actions of the trump admin can stop buying products from companies who manufacture in those red states

True, cult members are lost causes but for the millions of eligible voters who decided not to vote perhaps a little suffering might motivate them into making a different decision.
comment in response to post
If you have the option, vote in person and select a paper ballot.
comment in response to post
Amplify the injustices, lawlessness and deaths and in two years vote to try to remove maga from control of the legislative branch.

How long do you give him before he "resigns". I give it 9 months. The pressure will have him living in a bottle and he will need help.
comment in response to post
Hegseth accepting the notion that he would need to rely upon others would require a level of self awareness that he most assuredly doesn't have because if he did he would he respectfully declined the nomination.

Nah...it was reactive lip service to a moment in time captured on video making it undeniable even for this country. Consider this the post George Floyd era for corporate America. Good on the companies who realized the benefits of a DEI posture and who have continued with it. I will patronize them.

Let's give her some grace. I am a daddy's girl. When my father passed it was very difficult for me to attend funerals soon after bc it dredged up his. Her mom, whom she appeared to be very close with, just passed this past May. I get it if she needed to pass on attending for her personal well being.

They 1st need to audit whether the votes were calculated accurately. Why? 1. Because Trump campaigned saying we don't need your votes 2. Because Elon was sending celebration texts 4 hrs in like something they implemented was working 3. BC doing what they have accused others of doing is their M.O.
