They're both victims of the dream eater, dreams being eaten is almost the same as losing some memories and bodily functions. The most commonly affected bodily function is natural facial expression, but they'll regain it overtime

- Kallum being half human + deer fae/faun have always been the plan before any of that so I HAD to make it work. Ended up making a really sad backstory about what happened to his family around the time he was born + he hates his faun dad over it even if he never actually met him

- after some tweaking and obv removing as much of the racist elements in both Disney and og Esmeralda I possibly could with info I suddenly got access to, instantly made Kallum's character visual and story design easier
- i still won't let go of the Bambi part tho so I thought why not both

- a few things happened that made me almost scrap him bc I thought there's no way I can create his character properly at that time since, then fckn TWST GloriMas happened and remembered my fav Esmeralda existed after like 17 years at that point-

- ngl didn't know what to base him off of when I first made him, so randomly picked Bambi as a joke. Then I had to pick an ethnic inspo for him with Greek groups I put on an online spin the wheel, landed on Greek Roma
- took like 4 months to find out Romani are g*psy so I SCRAMMED FOR INFO

- Kolumbina exists now bc I wanted to try if I can do a ♂️ or♀️choose your protag type of thing and I absolutely love how the prototype designs are turning out so far
- if Kallum is picked, Carroll is the pair / if Kolumbina it's Carolle. I wanna drive the point either version is just homo lol

Notes on the designs though:
- currently there are essentially 2 types of Kallum; TWST and original/canon versions
- TWST & canon Kallum look different esp currently since twst=17, canon=21. Obv twst version looks younger
- almost canned him entirely bc of lack of resources about Roma at the time
