Critically important work. Thank you for your service. Constructive feedback: next time please also include all of the dogs names.

It's pretty impressive how engaged the crowd still is right now given what a drubbing this is turning out to be.

Perhaps the State Farm magic doesn’t summon people to where the magic is performed, but to where they are most needed. Jake is needed there, while Caitlin is needed at the game. More study is needed for sure.

Just wanted to say that this exchange has been really interesting to read. Lots of good info.

It felt like she was blocking every shot down the stretch.

That crowd was nuts. What a fun game.

She has like five blocks, too.

Given her credentials and background, I'd imagine this will make things uncomfortable for her in some circles. It might seem like the least someone could possibly do to not go along with corruption like this, but given how few people are doing it right now, she and the other resigners to be lauded.

The tale of McConnell, lusting solely for power, cravenly and cynically leading his party to a point where it has gone so far that it gets out of his control and he is left as the sole voice against this stuff feels almost Shakespearean or something.

Once you get a football coaching job you can basically shuffle back and forth between different jobs for life. It’s a lifetime appointment.

They definitely need to add a couple of roster spots to each team for next year. Six is proving not to really be enough.

Key to aging is to have your hair turn white when you are 30.

Yep. I wouldn’t be surprised but I just don’t know the logistics of how they’d do it with the ads sold. Wouldn’t be shocked if Fox finds a way.
comment in response to post
I don't think so but I'm certainly not an expert or anything. I think usually when you lay out 8 million for 30 seconds you're pretty committed to it and are working on the ad well in advance etc. I guess we will see.

I think in general it's just about impossible to tell what's malevolence and what's incompetence with this administration in general, but I don't think it particularly matters since it has the same effect.

I still think this is probably fake. Super Bowl ads were all sold out before the election even happened. They apparently still sell some in case there are unexpected delays in the game but the scheduled ads have all been spoken for for months.

I was setting up a new computer yesterday and the labyrinthian hoops I had to jump through to get some of my stuff activated was breathtaking. It’s more like four factor authentication sometimes.

I wonder if the image is AI or if he's wasting some employee's time by making them photoshop this at 3 AM or whenever he decides it needs to be made. Not that I know what else they'd be doing over there but still.

Are they implying Twitter was broadening anyone’s horizons at this point?

Wild that people don't understand this.

So sorry all of this happened to you, Jenn, and that you're reliving it now. Your accounts are some of my favorite follows on here (and were back when I was on the other site.) Hang in there--a lot of people you don't know are rooting for you.

I was thinking the same thing Julian was but unfortunately this is probably correct. So evil.

Would be so funny if Musk doesn't even make it to the Inauguration as part of the team.

Yeah, I have heard about that and it’s certainly better than nothing. I do think there’s something to be said for something visual and clear, though, to give you confidence that they are who they say there are without having to dig deeper.

I think this is growing at a pace where they should probably introduce notable person verification at some point. Not sure if they have ever commented on it but it was really helpful on the Bad Site before it totally got ruined.

I’m sorry all this is happening to you. I always enjoy reading your stuff and you are always thoughtful and fair; the fact that you’re being treated so unfairly is terrible.

This kind of energy. Steve’s post on this situation was great. Impressed he’s been able to be so measured after being treated like this.

As a random person who mostly just replies to stuff and is in no way notable, it's nice to actually sometimes have people who are not bots like or even reply to your posts!

Picasso is actually a good comparison. Everything is in the wrong place.
