I don't know if this doc would affect most people like it affected me -- an immigrant from New Delhi who is saddened by the state of affairs there, both environmental and political -- but I found it really moving. It's kinda slow but beautifully shot and worth checking out I think.

This film also has a lot to say about religious violence against Muslims in India, but it doesn't really push a strong political/narrative agenda. It just sort of unfurls like a poem and lets you draw your own conclusions.

if you have resources (a ladder, perhaps) or know someone in the house who can throw you a rope, that might be helpful. but also maybe not because, guess what? The house is also ON FIRE.
