The Maddadam Trilogy by Margaret Atwood ruined me pretty thoroughly.

I certainly shed a fair few myself, particularly at the photo inserts.

It's really really good, and more than a little heartbreaking, too. It also offers a lot of context for the books, and makes it easier to see Terry in them.

Given that it's Seattle, I honestly can't tell if you're kidding

I've not had the pleasure of tasting ostrich, but given that the chicken we eat has been bred for the purpose, I would imagine dinosaur would be much leaner and gamier, with more muscle on the drumsticks.

Prolly somewhere between chicken and alligator. And alligator is itself quite chickeny, but with the consistency of fish.

And the beauty of it is that he published like 75 books in his tragically truncated lifetime. You have so much amazing reading ahead of you.

I was a huge fan of Mike Oldfield's 2017 "Return to Ommadawn," a sequel to his 1975 album "Ommadawn." "Return" offers fresh perspectives on similar themes and instrumentation, and it really captures the feeling of coming home after a life-changing journey.

Hugo started his life as a call-in game one could play on one's television, directing the character using the touch-tones on the phone. It was pretty revolutionary at the time until home video game consoles arrived properly in Denmark.
