I samme periode var det unormalt varmt for årstiden og kraftig vind.
På Hopen værstasjon var det rundt 0 grader i to uker, 8,5 grader varmere enn normalen.
– Sjøisen er veldig sårbar for høye temperaturer og vind. Dette er et tydelig eksempel på det, sier @ketilisaksen.bsky.social
