Male, pale, stale. A big fan of trying to be funny on the internet. Anti-theist. Your culture and it's sacred stories are important and fascinating but all nonsense. Obsessed with games. Manchester United. Centrist, for physics reasons

This is guy is basically the American Dominic Cummings. Some interesting ideas and some powerful insights, all baked into a giant shit pie and served whole.

Historians however are all "wait I get to watch live coverage of the fall of Rome 24/7 in Ultra HD? Awesome!"

Also note borders change fairly frequently, and are a relatively modern invention - whereas cultures have existed as long as humans, and last (or strengthen) even when their people are forced to leave their homes.

My least favourite people in the world are minorities who are against their own minority. See also Priti Patel desperate to get rid of immigrants. Bitch please

The word "sinister" comes from the Latin sinistre, meaning left. Left handed people gave us a word with their freakish devilry. Lucky there's only 3% of them or we'd be in trouble

Where do we go from here? The words are coming out all weird. Are we really sinking This low?

I sometimes wonder if great artists look at their works and despair. Did Michaelangelo gaze upon David and think "ciao che bella grazie mille vaffanculo?" (Italian for "will i ever achieve such heights again?") And do you sit alone at night, weeping and quietly singing "dunna dun dun Tetris song"

Tie fighter scream As a kid I had an audio cassette of A New Hope. The full film but just the sound, and it was recorded in proper stereo - so the TIEs would scream from left to right in your headphones.

Yeah a few films around then either deliberately used the emotional memory of it to tug the heartstrings ... Or axed parts of their in production film that were a bit too close to reality!

I'm gonna be a boring weirdo here but this is absolutely top tier for me. The OP made a "doesn't this sound like the song" joke. Someone followed up with an also hilarious but unrelated joke. Then you managed to do OPs joke again, based on a spuriously provided input. Much respect Such lol 10/10

Conservatives. Unemployed people do not contribute to the economy, so they lose their status as human until they can pull themselves up by the bootstraps and leverage their trickle-down assets.

To be clear I love women in politics and leadership. People like Sanna Marin and Jacinda Ardern are wonderful. Liz Truss however reminds me of your school friend's ditzy mum who seemed just daft and harmless but you soon learned was actually an absolute bitch.
