The sequel looks nuts (in a good way) and I really want to try it. I feel I have to beat the original first though. 😅

Someone else said they beat it in around 50 hours without stressing as well. I kept hearing 100+ hours and whilst I do enjoy the occasional long game I know I would have to put a lot of other games aside for months. 😅

Does it have some kind of new game + or how do you do that then?

That’s usually how I play games. I like to take my time and explore and just enjoy the game. Sadly time is limited as an adult and when people say they spend 100 hours in the game I know it will take me months to beat. 55 is more manageable though 😅

Ah, I was right with Tower something at least. Have you played them all?

So you can’t get all in one playthrough even if you wanted to?

I’ve heard it takes roughly 100 hours to beat and that’s the main reason I haven’t started it. It would been an easier pill to swallow for me if it had been a bit shorter lol. 😅

I picked it up dirt cheap last year, but still haven’t started it. 😅

Ah ok. I have Xenogears and the Xenosaga games, but never tried any of the new ones. I remember the original was part of some trilogy of games on the Wii although the weren’t connected. Something Tower I think one of the was called 🤔😅

Is it a bit like Suikoden where you can unlock a ton of characters?

The Switch games are their own contained story right? I know the first one was originally on Wii, but it’s on the Switch now.

I’ve heard the game mentioned several times, but haven’t played it myself.
Sorry about your car. It can be very expensive to fix them. 🥴

Ah. Haven’t played it. 😅

I’m glad you liked it, it’s a great game imo. 😄

The problem is they didn’t do the dirty enough and that’s why they’re extinct 👀🤣

What game is that? 😅

Howdy stranger! Lol. I figured it was time for a new introduction 😅

They did make Killer Insinct themselves and that’s not exactly what I would call a family friendly game. 😅😂

You know, there’s even a blurry version on that Nintendo console you love so much. 😏🤣

Haha. Yeah it’s not a bad game, but it doesn’t quite reach the same levels as Capcom’s games 😅😂

Hahaha! I’ll admit it’s no masterpiece, but it’s not that bad lol. 🤣

I never felt like I was in control. I would make a jump and pray I would land somewhere safe lol. It’s been a very long time since I played it like I mentioned so maybe it’s time to give it another shot. 😅
comment in response to

To be fair I’ve only played the first game, but I really couldn’t get the hang of the controls and ended up hating the game. That was 20 something years ago though 😅

Oh yeah I really hope Rockstar goes all out on their radio stations. Sometimes I used to park my car and just listen to the radio in the PS2 games lol. 😅

Games don’t really use licensed music anymore I feel like. I discovered so many great artists through games like the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games and a bunch of racing games back in the day.

I’m pretty sure this was the first time I heard The Prodigy’s music and I became a huge fan of them.

It was fun back then, but Timesplitters kicked its ass when it comes to 4-player multiplayer mayhem 😂

I know Goldeneye did, but we still had fun with that game back in the day.

Running at a super smooth 15fps right? 😉😂

Sure, they just added a layer of blur and fog for the N64 release 😉🤣

I had the original game back in the day, but not anymore sadly. I don’t think I ever played the third version, but I did own some Wipeout game on the PS2. 😅 Fluke? No, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that. 🤔😅

Haha. The controllers can definitely feel a but wonky before you get used to them. 😅

I remember when he died, but for some reason it felt like that was more recently.

Yeah that was complete crap. I guess I wasn’t the only one who thought so since we never got a season 2 😂
